February 23
Officer First Class Kylie McGee assisted the highway patrol with locating a motorbike traveling at high speeds. She did not locate the bike.
Off. First Class McGee spoke with a person regarding a juvenile overhearing threats from other juveniles to another. She reported the information to the school resource officer. 
Officers issued eleven traffic warnings.
February 24
Officers responded to East James Street for report of a domestic assault in which a subject attempted to assault another with a chainsaw. When officers arrived, one subject fled on foot, and they secured the other and requested assistance from the highway patrol and sheriff’s office. Officers did not locate the subject that fled. The case is under investigation, and a warrant application will be made.
Lt. Trenton Roberts had a vehicle towed parked roadside for an extended time.
Asst. Chief Stetson Schwien investigated a nuisance dog running at large. He spoke with the owners and advised them to keep the dog restrained.
Lt. Roberts spoke with an individual reporting harassment and property damage. 
Off. First Class McGee conducted paper service at five residences.
Off. First Class McGee and Officer Johnson responded to a peace disturbance at James Street and S. Jackson Street. They advised the owners of loud music to keep it down.
Officers spoke with four individuals requesting assistance or information and issued three traffic warnings.
February 25
Lt. Roberts helped EMS with lifting assistance.
Lt. Roberts spoke with children after receiving a complaint they trespassed by cutting through yards.

February 26
Off. First Class McGee conducted a safety check on a vehicle with hazard lights on. 
Chief James Perkins responded to a trespassing complaint. He advised the subject to leave the property.
Chief Perkins arrested a subject for stealing and turned them over to Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
Lt. Roberts took a report of harassment. He collected evidence of harassment and threats. Charges will be sought.
Cpl. Israel Guidry spoke to the owner of a dog after a report of the dog acting aggressively toward a parent and children.
Officers spoke with three individuals requesting assistance or information.
February 27
Off. Matthew Combs responded to a report of people screaming at each other. The couple separated for the evening.
Chief Perkins removed an intoxicated subject from city hall and had them leave the property.
Chief Perkins responded to a residential alarm. He found the house secure and contacted the owners.
Chief Perkins took a report of an assault from someone stating they were struck in the face with a cell phone.
Cpl. Guidry conducted a paper service on a subject.
Officers spoke with three individuals requesting assistance or information and issued three traffic warnings.
February 28
Cpl. Guidry received a request to remove an elderly homeless person from McDonalds and trespassed them from Signal.
Off. Combs assisted a Howell County Deputy with trespassing an individual from a property. The individual later returned and Off. Combs issued a citation.
Asst. Chief Schwien assisted with moving a disabled vehicle out of the roadway.
Asst. Chief Schwein received a report of an individual driving with a small child in the vehicle who may be intoxicated. Investigation found the driver not impaired and the child fine.
Asst. Chief Schwein conducted traffic control until a disabled vehicle could be moved from the roadway.
Officers spoke to four individuals requesting assistance or information and issued two traffic warnings.
February 29
Off. Combs responded to a report of people fighting in a front yard. He found everyone calm and stating no fight occurred.
Asst. Chief Schwein assisted a property owner with serving a trespass order on someone refusing to leave.
Off. First Class McGee responded to a report of multiple dogs running at large. She secured three of the dogs but a fourth left the area. Officers will return to speak to the owner.
