Incidents
August 1
An assault was reported at a residence on Monks Street. Charges were sent to the county prosecutor. 
An assault involving a juvenile was reported on Lanton Road. The juvenile was transported to Ozarks Healthcare for a mental evaluation. 
A male subject was arrested after reporting that he had been robbed the night before. It was determined that the male had made a false report. 
A subject was arrested on Division Drive on an active arrest warrant. 
A theft was reported at Walmart. The matter is under investigation. 
Money was reported stolen from a female subject’s wallet at Walmart. A report was completed, and the investigation continues. 
August 2
A domestic disturbance was report on Thayer Avenue. A probable cause statement was forwarded to the county prosecutor. 
Two individuals were involved in an altercation on Aid Avenue. The matter is under investigation. 
Found property was located near 1st and Minnesota. The item was taken to the police department for safekeeping. 
A subject on Howell Avenue reportedly kept their child from seeing the child’s other parent. The subject agreed to let the child see the other parent. No charges were filed. 
Property damage was reported on the 1900 block of State Route BB. 
A domestic disturbance was reported on 4th Street. A female subject on the scene assaulted officers and was arrested. 
A domestic disturbance was reported on the 1400 block of 7th Street. 
An assault was reported on Poplar Street. The suspect in the assault was taken to Ozarks Healthcare for medical issues. Charges were sent to the Howell County Prosecutor for the assault. 
A subject was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant on Holiday Lane. 
August 3
An electric bicycle was reported stolen on Stephens Street. The matter is under investigation. 
A resident on 8th Street reported that parts were stolen from a lawn mower, making it unusable. The investigation continues. 
An incident of harassment was reported on Missouri Avenue. The victim did not want to press charges but reported being chased by the suspect for hours. 
A rape was reported on the 1300 block of Preacher Roe Boulevard. The matter is under investigation. 
A domestic disturbance was reported on Court Square. Charges were forwarded to the municipal prosecutor. 
A male subject was arrested on an active Green County warrant in the Imperial Center. 
Property damage was reported on the 1100 block of East Main. The matter remains under investigation. 
August 4
Property damage and theft from a vehicle was reported on Allen Street. The investigation continues. 
A backpack was found on Thornburgh. The bag was placed into found property. 
A three-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of U.S. Highway 63 and Gibson. One driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of narcotics. 
Money was reported stolen from a business account at a business on the 1200 block of Porter Wagoner Boulevard. The matter is being investigated. 
An assault was reported on the 2300 block of Terra. 
A domestic assault was reported on the 800 block of East Main. The suspect was arrested, and charges are pending. 
August 5
A male subject was arrested on Leyda on an active warrant. 
A driver was cited for no valid operator license during a traffic stop on West Main. 
A company reported being defrauded. The matter is under investigation. 
A found item was placed into evidence for safekeeping. 
A suspect in an assault on Washington was taken into custody. 
Property damage was reported to a vehicle on Lanton Road. 
An intoxicated male subject was placed on a protective hold after he refused to leave Rent-A-Center in Southern Hills. 
An intoxicated woman was located under the bleachers at the Heart of the Ozarks Fairgrounds. The woman was taken from the scene by a family member. 
August 6
Contact was made with a possibly intoxicated subject at Casey’s on Preacher Roe Boulevard. A controlled substance was seized and will be tested by the State Crime Lab. 
A female subject was issued a citation for shoplifting at Walmart. 
A domestic assault was reported on the 300 block of Walnut. Charges against the suspect are pending.
