April 6
Officer Joseph Tombley conducted a security check of a closed business parking lot on Lincoln Ave during the early morning hours after observing suspicious circumstances concerning a vehicle parked there. They briefly detained two individuals during the investigation and Officers recovered an item of drug paraphernalia, which was seized for evidence. No charges have been filed at this time.
Officer Nathaniel Siegrist arrested an individual on Amex St for an outstanding warrant.
Officer Chris Barrett responded to Bratton Avenue for a report of property damage.
Animal Control Officer Brad Jones responded to the Heights apartments for a loose dog attempting to attack other dogs. He located the dog and transported it to the animal control facility.
Officer Robert Shell responded to South Howell for a disturbance in progress. They arrested an individual and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
April 7
Officer Jesse Martin took a report of a stolen vehicle.
Officer Dobbs responded to Garner Villas Subdivision on Bruce Smith Parkway for a burglary report. This case is considered open for further investigation.
Officer Brent Keepes responded to a residence on Newton Street for a physical altercation. While conducting an investigation, the alleged suspect attempted to flee from law enforcement. When they detained the suspect, a medical emergency occurred. They transported the suspect to the hospital and later pronounced them deceased. This case remains open and will be further investigated by West Plains Detective Division.
Officer Katie Sandgren responded to Debra Drive regarding a dispute between family members. She arrested one individual. 
April 8
Officer Dawson Beavers conducted a security check on an individual found in the park after hours. The individual consented to a search and officers located drug paraphernalia. Due to damage to the item, no charges will be filed at this time.
April 9
Officer Tombley arrested an individual on Broadway St for an outstanding warrant.
Officer Daimen Meyer conducted a traffic stop and during the stop, arrested the driver for an outstanding warrant.
Officer Tyler Gill responded to West Plains Municipal Court for an individual in the lobby with an outstanding warrant.
While in the West Plains Municipal Courtroom, Officer Barrett received information regarding an individual in the courtroom with an outstanding Howell County warrant. He arrested the individual.
Officer Beadell responded to Ridgewood Drive for a report of possible animal abuse. The report will be closed due to lack of evidence.
April 10
Officer Dobbs took a report of assault.
Officer Conner Burnes received information of a juvenile problem. His investigation found an adult and two juveniles in possession of possession of nicotine vapes. He seized the vapes and this case will be closed with no charges at this time.
Officer Gill took a report of a runaway juvenile. Officers later found and returned the juvenile to their guardian.
Officer Vernon arrested an individual at Walmart parking lot for an outstanding warrant.
Officer Keepes responded to a residence Harlin Drive for a report of property damage. After an investigation both parties separated, and no charges will be sought due to an uncooperative victim.
April 11
Officer Gill responded to Siloam Springs Road in regard to a call for property damage. Upon investigation, he identified several victims and contacted them all.
Officer Barrett responded to Texas Avenue for a report of a runaway juvenile they later located.
Officer Martin responded to E State Route K for a report of theft. An investigation is ongoing.
Officer Vernon took a report of a domestic altercation. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County prosecutors.
Officer Brent Keepes responded to the Skate Park regarding threats to harm a juvenile. After an investigation, no charges will be sought. He arrested an adult individual for an active warrant out of Howell County.
Cpl. Brandon Stephens conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for an outstanding warrant.
April 12
Officer Tombley responded to the area of Locust Street in reference to a reported domestic altercation. His investigation revealed the incident involved an individual experiencing a medical emergency rather than a domestic disturbance. Officers assisted EMS personnel in safely restraining the individual and facilitating transport to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Officer Sandgren took a report from an individual claiming a sex crime occurred against them. This case will be referred to the West Plains Police Department.
Officer Caleb Kerley spoke with an individual regarding a failed custody exchanged with one parent refusing to return the children. This case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
Officer Franks responded to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. His investigation discovered a juvenile left home after being disciplined by their father. They returned the juvenile to the home, and nothing further is needed regarding this incident.
