April 14
Officer Tyler Franks responded to a residence in reference to an individual reporting they held someone at gunpoint. The homeowner advised they pointed a firearm at a subject who trespassed on the property and they attempted to fire the weapon, however the gun did not go off. This report is for informational purposes, and officers notified family members of the situation.
Office Jesse Martin took a report of lost property.
Officer Brent Keepes responded to Washington Avenue regarding an assault. An investigation found the parties claiming a consensual fight between both parties and no charges will be sought.
Officer Keepes responded to the area of Haddock Drive and U.S. Hwy 63 in regard to the driver of a truck who contacted emergency services in a state of emotional distress. After further investigation he placed the individual on a ninety-six hour hold for mental health evaluation.
Officer Keepes assisted the Howell County Sheriff’s Office with a report of a domestic disturbance involving a vehicle assault. The investigation found a subject intentionally collided his vehicle into another vehicle on the roadway with two occupants inside. With the help of Texas County Sheriff Department and Cabool Police Department they located the subject and took them into custody, placing them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
April 15
Officer Dawon Beavers responded to County Road 6070 in reference to a runaway juvenile. Officers located the juvenile, took the juvenile into custody and transported them to the West Plains Police Department where they transferred custody of the juvenile to the Howell County Juvenile Office. 
Officer Nathaniel Siegrist responded to County Road 1770, Galloway Park, in reference to a naked male performing inappropriate acts inside and outside of his vehicle. They identified the individual and a probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officer Siegrist arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.
Officer Dobbs responded to Little Caesar’s Pizza for a leaving the scene of an accident report. They identified the driver and closed the case.
Officer Siegrist responded to Gibson Ave in reference to a disturbance. They transported the individuals to the Howell County Juvenile Office for further guidance.
Officer Brandon Vernon contacted an individual at the fairgrounds suspected in a domestic assault that occurred on April 11. They placed the individual under arrest for domestic assault. They completed a narcotics investigation after the arrest and located a large amount of suspected methamphetamine inside the vehicle. The male and female in possession of the vehicle were placed under arrest on a 24-hour hold.
April 16
Officer Dobbs responded to 10Box grocery store for a report of stealing. They later identified a suspect. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the West Plains Municipal Prosecutor seeking charges.
Officer Dobbs responded to Behavioral Health Care for a report of an out-of-control juvenile. A juvenile referral will be sent to the Howell County Juvenile Office.
Officer Chris Barrett took a report of forgery resulting in stealing from a bank account.
Officer Jacob Beadell responded to Woodland for a report of stealing. An investigation resulted in the victim providing proof of fraudulent use of a credit/debit card. Officers interviewed the suspect before arresting them. This case will be referred to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Officer Robert Shell conducted a warrant service on Lanton Rd. 
Officer Caleb Kerley responded to a reported animal bite on Thayer Ave. Officers took possession of the dog and transported it to the West Plains Animal Control Building to be placed on a 10-day quarantine for rabies.
April 17
Cpl. Wesley Stuart responded to a parking lot on Washington Ave for a suspicious subject. They located the subject and found they had outstanding warrants. 
Officer Dobbs responded to McFarland Drive for a report of a deceased person. He conducted a death investigation and the case is closed.
Officer Gill took a report of a burglary.
Officer Gill responded to the Emergency Room of Ozark's Healthcare for a report of an individual assaulting staff. He took one suspect into custody and charges are being filed with the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.
Officers received information of Howell County Sheriff’s Office Deputies preparing to serve a search warrant on Maple St. During the investigation they found an individual with 3 active warrants out of the City of West Plains.
Cpl. Stuart responded to Fairfield for a report of a subject not breathing. They pronounced the individual deceased at the scene. No foul play is suspected in this matter.
April 18
Officer Franks responded to a residence regarding a domestic altercation. His investigation found a couple in a relationship had a physical altercation resulting in one individual damaging the other’s phone before leaving the residence and stealing the other’s car. One individual did sustain injuries. This case and a probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutors Office for review.
April 19
Cpl. Brandon Stephens arrested an individual for driving while intoxicated. 
Officer Keepes arrested an individual for driving while intoxicated.
Cpl. Stephens conducted a traffic stop on US Hwy. 63 at St. Rt. K and as a result of the stop, arrested the driver for being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
Officer Ivie Powell conducted a traffic stop on Missouri Avenue for the investigation of a burglary. During the investigation he found an individual within the vehicle had an active arrest warrant issued through the West Plains Municipal Courts.
Officer Katie Sandgren responded to OZH in reference to a reported dog bite that occurred on Missouri Ave. The victim stated they did not wish to pursue charges and primarily wanted to ensure the safety of others.
Officer Beadell responded to Washington Ave for a report of a subject not breathing. They pronounced the individual deceased at the scene. No foul play is suspected in this matter.
Cpl. Stephens arrested an individual for driving while intoxicated.
