February 20
Officer Heuchelin responded to West Second St for a disturbance.
Officer Joel Lovelace responded to Paula Drive for a report of a verbal disturbance and property damage.
Officer Barrett responded to Division Drive for a report of property damage. The reporting party stated that juveniles entered the business after hours and damaged a door and stole items. The case will be forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.
Officer Whitley Clark responded to Kay Drive for a report of possible child abuse. The case will be forwarded to the detectives for further investigation.
Officer Stephens took a report of an assault and lewd and immoral conduct. The call resulted in a suspect receiving citations for the offenses. 
Officer Stephens issued a citation for assault after investigation of an incident on Lambert Lane.
Officer Keepes responded to West Second Street for an assault in progress. A subject assaulted his staff and then officers while being taken into custody. They placed the subject on a 24-hour hold pending charges.
February 21
Officer Jacob Brixey assisted Howell County Deputies at the intersection of US Hwy 63 and Rhonda Drive for a traffic stop. Deputies arrested a subject for a possible controlled substance.
While working a motor vehicle collision, investigation found a subject with an active arrest warrant out of Las Vegas, Nev. 
Officer Keepes took a report of stereo equipment stolen from a vehicle.
Officers attempted a traffic stop on Saint Louis and Thornburg. The vehicle failed to yield, and officers terminated the pursuit due to unsafe conditions. Officers later found the vehicle and arrested the driver. 
February 22
Officer Martin responded to West Third Street for a report of unsupervised young children playing in the street. Charges will be sought.
Officer Keepes responded to Grace Avenue for a wellbeing check. EMS transported a subject for a 96-hour mental evaluation.
Sergeant Reid received a call to Wal-Mart parking lot for a report of an elderly person who appeared confused. Officers extended a courtesy transport to the individual’s residence.
Officer Brixey responded to W. Cass Avenue for a report of domestic disturbance. Officers arrested one subject. 
February 23
Officer Powell responded to a call on Cass Avenue of property damage. The victim reported someone put laundry fabric softener and rock salt in their gas tank. The matter is under investigation. 
Officer Powell responded to Mitchell Road for a report of a vehicle collision into a business building. EMS transported one injured customer. The case remains open and under investigation.
Detective Jeremy Pounders took a report from the City of West Plains of a theft of five catalytic converters from city vehicles. 
Officer Keepes assisted Children’s Division with the removal of a child from a residence for safety concerns. Further investigation will be by the Children’s Division and West Plains Detective Division.
February 24
Officer Siegrist responded to Webster for an assault. A report will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.
February 25
Officer Siegrist responded to Hubert Redburn in reference to a verbal dispute. Investigation found an assault occurred. He took one individual into custody on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. 
Corporal Manning responded to a business on Gibson Street for a report of an unresponsive person in a ditch. Officers encountered an intoxicated subject asleep. Officers placed the subject on a 12-hour protective hold for safety purposes.
Officer Martin took a report of a stolen firearm.
Officer Stephens responded to Walker Street for a report of a disturbance. He took one subject into custody on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges of domestic assault.
Sergeant Wichowski responded to Walker Street for a report of an out-of-control juvenile. EMS transported the juvenile for treatment.
February 26
Detention Officer Morgan took a report of an assault that took place at West Plains Jail. He separated the inmates, and a supervisor will investigate.
Officer Keepes responded to Casey’s on Broadway for a stealing in progress. He trespassed one subject from the store and transported to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
Officer Stephens responded to Walker Street for an out-of-control juvenile. They took the juvenile to OZH for mental evaluation.
