June 22

Officer Jesse Martin took a report of fraudulent use of credit or debit device.

Officer Jacob Beadell responded to Porter Wagoner for a report of harassment. This case will remain inactive pending camera footage.

Officer Katie Sandgren spoke to an individual reporting an assault. Charges will be referred to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's office.

Officer Beadell spoke to a subject regarding theft from storage units within West Plains. This case will be forwarded to the West Plains Police Detectives Division for further investigation.

June 23

Officer Martin responded to Hubert Redburn, West Plains, for a drug-related offense. The investigation is ongoing.

Cpl. Trent Kinder responded to State Rt K Hwy for the report of harassment. While speaking with an individual they became agitated, assaulting officers and failing to comply. The male was taken into custody and transported to Ozark's Healthcare Emergency Room to be evaluated by a Physician for his safety and the safety of others. Charges in the incident will be forwarded to the Prosecutor for review.

Officer Sandgren responded to Butler Children's Park, at the splash pad, for a possible vandalism report. This case will be considered closed due to a lack of evidence of a crime.

Officer Kerley responded to a Main St residence regarding a verbal domestic disturbance.

Officer Daiman Meyer responded to Missouri Avenue for a report of an assault. His investigation identified a suspect. They arrested the suspect and placed them on a 24-hour hold, pending formal charges. This case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office for review.

June 24

Officer Brandon Vernon took a report of lost or stolen property.

June 25

Officer Wartanby responded to a check wellbeing request on Lanton Road. His investigation discovered the individual deceased of natural causes. 

Officers responded to a warrant service, locating and arresting the individual and transported them to the Howell County Sheriff's Office.

Det. John Hughston conducted a follow up investigation related to the ongoing sales and distribution of illegal narcotics. The investigation will continue.

Officer Miller arrested and cited an individual for stealing on County Road 1280.

June 26

Officer Gill arrested an individual on Maple for an outstanding warrant.

Officer Wartanby responded to a domestic altercation on Lynn. The suspect fled on foot and could not be located. The victim denied medical treatment even with visible signs. Charges will be forwarded to the prosecuting attorney.

Officer Gill responded to Seminole for a report of a domestic altercation. An investigation revealed two separate incidents occurred. Two separate charges are being filed with the Howell County Prosecutor's Office for review.

Officer Beadell responded to a business on Division Dr for a report of a juvenile with medical issues. They transported the juvenile a local hospital due to the guardian’s wishes.

Officer Vernon conducted a traffic stop on Porter Wagoner and arrested the passenger for an outstanding warrant.

June 27

Officer Dobbs responded to State Route K for a report of domestic disturbance.

Officer Chris Barrett arrested an individual on Broadway for an outstanding warrant.

Officer Beadell took a report from Tera of a missing juvenile. This case will remain open pending further investigation.

June 28

Officer Tombley responded to Trish Knight for a report of a violation of an order of protection. During the investigation, officers located the individual accused of violating the order at the scene. They arrested the individual for the offense.

Sgt. Stephens conducted a traffic stop on Olden and arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated.

Officer Wartanby investigated a report of a theft and trespassing on Tenth St. This incident will remain open pending further investigation.

Officer Wartanby responded to a possible Property damage at Southern Hills. This case will remain open pending further investigation. 

Officer Sandgren conducted a requested wellbeing check on Hubert Redburn and found the individual deceased with no signs of foul play.

June 29

Sgt. Stephens conducted a traffic stop on Porter Wagoner and arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated.

Officer Barrett investigated a one vehicle accident with property damage at a business on Worley Drive.

Officer Meyer responded to a requested wellbeing check of an individual lying on the parking lot of Burger King. He found the individual in an impaired state and placed them on a 12-hour safety hold.

June 30

Officer Meyer conducted a traffic stop on Creamery Road and found the driver impaired and in possession of items they were not of legal age to possess. He arrested the driver and this case will be referred to the West Plains Municipal Prosecutor's Office for review.

Officer Jesse Martin responded to Rhonda Drive for a possible domestic altercation and took a report of a runaway juvenile.

Officer Sandgren investigated a report of an assault on West Main St.

Officer Shell responded to Joe Jones Blvd. for a report of an assault. He later arrested a suspect and placed them on a 24-hour hold. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.

July 1

Officer Meyer responded to Johnson Street for a report of property damage. This case is open and active, pending further information.

Officer Wartanby responded to US Hwy 63 for a theft report. This case will remain open pending further investigation.

Officer Wartanby investigated a report of trespassing on Chateau.

Officer Vernon began an investigation of a theft on Farrell.

July 2

Sgt. Stephens conducted a traffic stop on south US Hwy. 63. As a result of the stop, he arrested a juvenile for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. After processing the juvenile at the jail, they were released to a parent with citations.

Cpl. Wesley Stuart conducted a traffic stop on US 63 and arrested the driver for an outstanding warrant.

Officer Wartanby responded to a stealing report on Lincoln Ave. His investigation determined the subject stole a sum of money through the bank account of the victim. This incident will remain open pending further investigation.

Officer Dobbs responded to the Ozarks Healthcare Emergency Department for a report of possible child abuse. The alleged child abuse occurred in Mountain Grove, and the case will be forwarded to the Mountain Grove Police Department for further investigation.

Officer Wartanby took a report of stealing from Rita Dr.

July 3

Officer Wartanby responded to Renfrow for a report of possible trespassing. 

Officer Wartanby took a report of property damage to a vehicle on Pony Thomas.

July 4

Officer Wartanby responded to Dana St for a report of missing juvenile. Attempts to locate the juvenile failed and the investigation will remain open.

Officer Keepes responded to East Main St for a domestic altercation.

Sgt. Micah McKemie conducted a traffic stop at Padgett and State Route CC and arrested the driver for an outstanding warrant.

July 5

Officer Kerly responded to Llama St regarding a domestic in progress. This case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecutors' Office for review.

Officer Keepes responded to Olive Street for an individual reporting they were assaulted by another who lived at the residence. His investigation found an altercation did not occur.
