March 13
Officer Joel Lovelace responded to Porter Wagoner for a report of a missing person. This incident is open and under investigation.
Corporal Trent Kinder assisted an individual reporting a financial scam.
Officer Jacob Brixey took a report of stealing from Porter Wagoner Blvd. The case is active and open pending further investigation. 
Officer Keepes responded to Holiday Lane to speak with an individual regarding a firearm. The individual surrendered a defective pistol they had purchased. 
Officer Brixey responded to Gibson Avenue for a report of stealing. They identified a suspect and after locating them, issued citations.
Cpl. Stuart received a call by the Howell County Sheriff's Department to assist them on a traffic stop with Canine Loki. Canine Loki gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics emitting from the vehicle and a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of multiple illicit substances.  
March 14
Officer Heuchelin received a report of two individuals checking vehicle doors. He located the individuals and documented the event.
Officer Ivie Powell responded to Mitchell Road for a death investigation. He determined an elderly individual passed from natural causes. The case is considered closed.
Officer Lovelace took a report of odometer fraud from Holiday Lane.
Ozark County Sheriff Cass Martin contacted the West Plains Police Department in reference to a case of suspected abuse of a disabled person. The investigation is being conducted by the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office. 
Officer Brixey took a report of a hit and run vehicle crash that happened on North Kentucky. The case is considered closed until more information can be obtained.
March 15
Officers responded to Thayer Ave for a wellbeing check. Upon investigation by officers, EMS transported a juvenile for a mental evaluation.
Officer Whitley Clark responded to Snappy Mart 9 on US Highway 63 for a report of stealing. They reported that overnight unknown individuals stole approximately 1,000 gallons of fuel. This case is considered open for further investigation.  
Officer Brixey responded to Lanton road to a report of stealing. A report was taken, and the case is considered closed until further information becomes available. 
Officer Heuchelin responded to Washington Ave for a report of a verbal domestic. 
March 16
Officer Barrett took a report from an apartment complex on Jackson Street of theft. The manager reported individuals looking into vehicles and removing a bicycle from the property. The report is under investigation.
Officer Keepes took a report of a possible interference with child custody. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor. 
March 17
Officer Chris Siegrist received information from an individual who received threats. He documented the incident.
Corporal Micah McKemie completed a stealing report that occurred at a bank. This case is active and open pending further investigation. 
Corporal Thomas Manning responded to E Third Street in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival Officers attempted to identify the suspicious person and the subject fled on foot. They later apprehended the suspect and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. 
Officer Siegrist responded to Anne Street due to an individual causing a disturbance. The individual fled from officers. They placed he individual on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. 
Corporal McKemie completed a stealing report that occurred on Worley Drive. The case is active and open pending further investigation. 
Officer Barrett spoke with an individual who stated that for the last few months, a dog has been showing up at her residence throughout the day and has been getting aggressive towards her family. He made contact with the owner of the dog located on Summit Street and issued a citation for dog running at large. 
Officer Lovelace responded to Bartley Street for a report of two dogs running loose in the neighborhood. A report will be forwarded to the West Plains Municipal Prosecutor's Office.
