March 27
Officer Joel Lovelace took a report of stolen catalytic converters. The case is set to inactive until further evidence is obtained.
Officer Ivie Powell responded to US Highway 63 for a theft report. The victim advised that several parts were stolen from two vehicles on the property.
Officers responded to Siloam Springs Road for a report of an accident with a vehicle leaving the scene. Officer Barrett spoke to the victim, who stated someone hit his trailer and damaged it.
Officers responded to Bayird Dodge for a report of theft. They reported multiple tires and rims were stolen from the location. The case remains open for further investigation. 
March 28
Officer Connor Burnes responded to Olden Street for a juvenile problem. Investigation found a juvenile in possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A search of the juvenile’s vehicle recovered illegal contraband. A report will be forwarded to the Juvenile Office.
Corporal Micah McKemie took a report of theft from Trish Knight Street.
Corporal McKemie responded to State Route K for a fatality vehicle accident. 
Officer Keepes responded to McFarland Drive for an individual not breathing. They declared the individual deceased.
Officers responded to Ginger Drive for a report of a missing juvenile. They later located the juvenile.
Officer Heuchelin responded to Humphries Drive for a suspicious vehicle. He arrested one individual for driving while intoxicated.
March 29
Officer Jacob Brixey received a report of a juvenile making terrorist threats against the West Plains Middle School. They identified the juvenile suspect and interviewed them with a parent and a Juvenile Officer. The juvenile was arrested by a Juvenile Officer and transported to a Juvenile Detention Center.
Officer Chris Siegrist took a report from an individual on Lanton Road for property damage.
March 30
Officer Barrett took a report regarding a stolen debit card. The case is under investigation.
Officer Burnes responded to Olden Street for a report of a juvenile found to be in possession of a nicotine vaping product. This case will be forwarded to the Juvenile Court. 
Officer Barrett responded to South Thayer Avenue to take a report from an individual stating that while away from the residence, someone took items from inside. The case is under investigation.
The Southwest MO Cyber Crimes Task Force, HSI - Springfield (MO), and the Greene County Sheriff Department executed a residential search warrant in the 3500 Block of South Western Avenue in Springfield, Greene County, Missouri, concerning the sexual exploitation of children. Several items capable of storing digital media were seized as evidence. The investigation is on-going.
Officer Stephens responded to the Aquatic Park for a report of a missing juvenile. Officers located the juvenile a short time later.
March 31
Officer Whitley Clark responded to Jackson Street for a juvenile in possession of marijuana. This case is open pending further investigation. 
Officer Burnes responded to Olden Street for a report of a juvenile found to be in possession of a nicotine vaper product. This case is still under investigation. 
April 1
Officer Barrett responded to Saint Louis Street for a report of a physical domestic. A report will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for charges of Domestic Assault 2nd Degree in reference to this case. 
Officers responded to West Broadway for a report of stolen merchandise.
Officer Siegrist responded to West First Street in reference to an assault. He arrested one individual and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
Sergeant Colter Reid responded to Washington Avenue in reference to a report of an out-of-control juvenile. A juvenile officer also responded to the residence.
Officer Siegrist took a report of property damage from Palmer Street. 
April 2
While on routine patrol officers conducted a traffic stop at Pony Thomas and Jackson Avenue, placing individuals under arrest after consent to search the vehicle. Officers located multiple items of drug paraphernalia and controlled substances. All subjects were placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges from the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office. While at the jail, officers found 5 different expired driver’s license and one ID that belonged to family members on one of the individuals.
Officer Siegrist responded to West Broadway in reference to stolen merchandise. They identified a subject and a probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Municipal Prosecutor.  
April 3
Officers responded near the intersection of Gleghorn Street and Debra Avenue for a report of a possible burglary. They placed a suspect 12-hour protective hold.
Officer Powell responded to Porter Wagoner for a report of a theft. The victim reported the catalytic converter and a bed cover were cut. This matter remains open and under investigation. 
Officers took reports of a possible violation of protection orders on multiple cases. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office regarding the incidents.
Officer Keepes responded to West 2nd Street regarding a juvenile problem. They placed the juvenile on a 96-hour hold.  
Officer Keepes responded to Ozark's Healthcare to assist Oregon County Sheriff Department with a report of assault. He interviewed the victim, and a report will be forwarded to Oregon County Sheriff Department.
April 4
Officer Keepes took a report of property damage from Lincoln Avenue.
Officer Burnes responded for a juvenile problem on Olden Street. They found a juvenile to be in possession of a nicotine vaper product and an assault took place. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Keepes responded to Washington Ave for a report of a physical domestic. They took one suspect into custody and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. Suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were located on the suspect. 
Sergeant Romans took a report of a stolen vehicle from Thornburgh Street.
Officer Brixey took a report of a stolen vehicle from South Curry. They later located the vehicle and arrested a suspect.
Sgt Reid responded to Hubert Redburn Drive in reference to a report of a subject making suicidal statements. Officers made contact with the subject and transported them to Ozarks Healthcare without incident. 
Officer Brixey responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Lanton Road. They arrested a suspect and transported them to the West Plains Jail and placed on a 24-Hour hold Pending formal charges. 
Sgt. Reid responded to Hynes Street in reference to a report of a domestic assault. No injuries were reported, and a probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office. 
April 5
Officer Burnes took a report of a runaway juvenile from Olden Street. Officers located the juvenile and returned them to the parents. This case will be forwarded to the Juvenile Office. 
The Children’s Division requested assistance for a report of an infant that sustained unexplained serious physical injury in February 2023. The investigation is on-going. 
Officer Powell responded to a business on Preacher Roe for a report of an accident with one vehicle leaving the scene.
April 6
Officer Powell responded to Dogwood Circle in reference to a vehicle collision with a manhole causing damage to the vehicle. While swerving to miss a raised manhole, the back of the vehicle struck the manhole.
Officers responded for an assault located on Olden Street. Two victims reported no injuries. This case is still under investigation.  
Officer Burnes took a report of peace disturbance. An individual threatened to harm the victim while they were speaking to a third party. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Burnes responded for a juvenile problem on Olden Street. He found a juvenile to be in possession of a nicotine vaper product. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Powell assisted an individual with a fraudulent cashier’s check. He found the cashier’s check to be part of a scam. 
Officer Brixey took a report of theft. He later found the suspect and issued a citation for stealing.
Cpl. McKemie took a report of stealing from Preacher Roe Blvd where the suspect fled the scene. Officers identified the suspect and charges are being sought.
Officer Burnes responded to a juvenile problem on Olden St. They found a juvenile to be in possession of a nicotine vaper product. This case is still under investigation. 
April 7
Officer Powell responded US Highway 63 in reference to a burglary. The victim advised an unknown person(s) had burglarized the business and two vehicles. This matter remains open and under investigation. 
Officers responded to a business on Preacher Roe reporting a catalytic converter stolen from one of the used vehicles on the car lot. A report will be further investigated. 
Officer Keepes responded to Paula Drive for a suspect trying to forcibly enter a residence. Property damage occurred to the door frame of the residence. They took the suspect into custody and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office. Officers learned that another individual had an active warrant and took them into custody.
Cpl. McKemie received a report of domestic assault. Investigation found one individual assaulted another. They arrested the individual for the assault and an outstanding warrant.
April 8
Cpl. Manning took a report of a sexual assault. He completed an initial investigation into the allegations and forwarded it to the Detectives Division for further investigation.  
Cpl. McKemie took a report of a counterfeit bill. This case is under investigation. 
Cpl. McKemie responded to East Poplar Avenue in reference to an out-of-control subject. Investigation found an individual became distraught then started to scream and yell at others.
Sgt. Reid took a report of trespassing. He issued the suspect a citation.
April 9
Officer Heuchelin responded to Porter Wagoner for a disturbance. EMS transported one subject.
Officers located a runaway juvenile near Porter Wagoner Boulevard and Broadway Street. They released the juvenile to the custody of the legal guardians.
