Incidents 
March 7
A missing person was reported by a resident on 7th Street. The person in question was later located. 
A male subject was taken into custody on multiple warrants while at the Howell County Courthouse. 
A suicidal person was reported on Christie Drive. The subject was taken by EMS for a mental health evaluation. 
A woman reported that she was assaulted and had money taken from her. The incident happened in the area of Utah and 6th Street. The woman stated that she knew the suspects. 
March 8
A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of U.S. Highway 63 and State Route 17. An investigation determined that the license plates on the vehicle were stolen. 
Theft of utilities was reported at a residence on the 1000 block of North Howell. A report was taken. 
A theft was reported at the Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park. The case remains under investigation. 
March 9
A domestic assault was reported at a residence on Grace Avenue. A male subject was reportedly assaulted by a former spouse. The investigation is ongoing. 
A female subject was taken into custody on three active warrants. 
A male subject reported a stolen check. The case was forwarded to the detectives’ division. 
Damage was reported to a glass door on a building on the 300 block of Howell Avenue. The case is under investigation. 
A male subject was taken into custody on an active warrant at the Imperial Plaza. 
An abandoned vehicle was reported on Jefferson Avenue that was parked in front of a residence. 
A male subject reported that a person he knows is refusing to return his firearm to him. The investigation is ongoing. 
Property damage was reported at Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park. No charges were sought. 
A female subject reported that she had been sexually assaulted. The case was forwarded to the Investigations Division. 
A stolen bicycle was retrieved and taken to the West Plains Police Department. The bike was placed in evidence, pending retrieval by the owner. 
A male subject was taken into custody on active West Plains warrants while at the Cabool Police Department. 
A possible domestic assault was reported at a residence on the 1000 block of 2nd Street. No charges were sought. 
A domestic assault between two male subjects was reported on Walnut Street. An investigation was completed, and charges were forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor. 
A shoplifting incident was reported at Walmart. The case is open for further investigation. 
A theft from a coin-operated machine was reported at Ranch House. The business did not pursue charges. 
Found property was located at Snappy Mart on Porter Wagoner Boulevard. The property was entered into evidence for safekeeping. 
March 10
One person was arrested on an active warrant during a traffic stop on Worley Drive. 
A woman reported that she was assaulted by her boyfriend on the 1600 block of 5th Street. A report was taken, and all parties were separated. 
A report of harassment was received from a business on Olden. A woman reported that she received a threatening phone call. The report is under investigation. 
A male subject was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant. The man was taken into custody, pending extradition to Montgomery County. 
An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a report of trespassing. A suspect was issued a ticket with a court date. 
An unknown subject attempted to steal the catalytic converter from a vehicle on the 1000 block of 3rd Street. The case in under investigation. 
An individual reportedly jumped from a moving vehicle on the 1000 block of Washington. The subject suffered minor injuries and was transported to Ozarks Healthcare. 
March 11
Two juveniles were reportedly in a physical altercation on Twin Oaks Drive. The case is under investigation. 
A business on West Broadway reported a theft. The manager of the store reported that a male suspect had taken items from the store. The report was forwarded to the municipal prosecutor. 
A possible drug overdose was reported on Johnson Street. The male subject was taken to the hospital for treatment and was placed under arrest for active arrest warrants. 
A female subject was arrested on an active warrant on Grace Avenue. 
A male subject was reported having a medical emergency on the 1800 block of Gibson. Upon arrival, the male was declared deceased. 
A security alarm was activated at Clear Creek Golf Car on U.S. Highway 63. The building was checked and secured, and nothing appeared out of place. 
March 12
A domestic disturbance was reported on the 200 block of Fairfield Drive. The victim declined to provide information in the investigation. No charges were filed. 
Property damage was reported on the 700 block of Independence. The victim reported that her car was scratched multiple times. A suspect was identified. The case is under investigation. 
Counterfeit money was discovered at Ramey Supermarket. The fake currency was given to police for destruction. 
A travel bag full of clothing was located in the garden center at Walmart. The owner had not been found. 
Two males were involved in an altercation at Aldi. A report was taken, and a citation was issued. 
Counterfeit currency was reported at Dollar Tree. The suspect was unknown. 
March 13
A male suspect was arrested in a domestic disturbance on East State Route K. The man was placed on a hold, pending charges, after he assaulted his girlfriend. 
An abandoned vehicle was reported on Braxton Street. An intoxicated female, who was located near the vehicle, was taken into protective custody. 
Citations were given to a driver during a stop on Saint Louis Street for driving while suspended and failure to maintain financial responsibility. 
Property damage was reported on Webster Avenue. A suspect was taken into custody after allegedly damaging several windows on multiple homes on Webster.
