February 19
Officer Ivie Powell spoke with an individual reporting a subject did not return a rental car per the agreement. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney.
Cpl. Thomas Manning conducted warrant services on Porter Wagoner on a subject with active warrants out of the City Of Mountain View. 
Officers served a warrant on Grace Ave.
Officer Mingus responded to Washington Ave for property damage. An unknown person stuck a sign pole.
February 20
Dt. Jeremy Pounders spoke to two board members from Arts on the Avenue Inc. reporting a person known to them made purchases using Arts on the Avenue Inc money for personal items and gain. The matter is currently under investigation. 
Officers served a warrant on Sixth St. They arrested two subjects on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges after further investigation. 
Officer Jacob Brixey conducted an investigation for stealing. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the 37th Judicial Circuit, Juvenile Division. 
Cpl. Wesley Stuart responded to Washington Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. They separated the parties for the night and this matter will be closed.
Cpl. Stuart received a report in reference to the possible sexual assault of two juveniles. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Brent Keepes responded to a residence on Renfrow for warrant service.  
Officer Robert Shell served an FTA warrant near the 1800 block of Lasswell St. 
February 21
Officer Barrett responded to a business located on Kentucky Avenue for a report of stealing. An employee of the business stated a subject came into the business and took items before walking out without paying for the items. They later located the subject and issued a citation for stealing. 
Officer Connor Burnes responded for a child crime located in the area of Lasswell. The reporting party reported a juvenile sent explicit media to an adult. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Beadell arrested a subject on Third Street for active arrest warrants. A search resulted in locating drug paraphernalia. Officers transported the subject to jail for the warrants and issued a citation for the drug paraphernalia. 
Officer Brixey responded to a report of a hit and run at the intersection of North Howell Avenue and Broadway. The case is open, pending further investigation. 
Officer Keepes took a report of a stolen outside grill.
Officer Keepes responded to a residence on Burgoyne regarding a physical altercation. Interviews found a physical domestic altercation took place between two people who reside together. They took one into custody pending formal charges. 
Cpl. Stuart responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of Preacher Roe and Worley Drive. Investigation of the crash found one drivers had a suspended drivers license. They placed the driver under arrest and transported them to the West Plains Police Department. 
February 22
The West Plains Police Department served a narcotics-related search warrant on Maple Street. A search located and seized drug paraphernalia related to the distribution of illegal narcotics and suspected methamphetamine and other illegal controlled substances. Officers also seized US currency indicative of the illegal sales of narcotics. They took four suspects into custody: one has pending charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance; one has pending charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and two has pending charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. 
Cpl. Micah McKemie conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation on Saint Louis Street. He deployed the K9 and the K9 alerted. A search of vehicle resulted in drug paraphernalia. They arrested the driver and transported them to jail.
Officer Burnes responded for a juvenile problem. Interviews with the reporting party revealed a truant juvenile from school. This case will be sent to the 37th Judicial District Juvenile Division.  
Sgt. Colter Reid responded to 10box Grocery in reference to a report of stealing. Officers identified a juvenile suspect, and the matter was referred to the juvenile office. 
Officer Brixey responded to a residence on Lanton Road to a report of a domestic assault. South Howell EMS treated an individual on the scene. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office. 
February 23
Sgt. Joshua Wichowski took a report of a domestic on Allen Street.
While conducting business checks in the Preacher Roe area Cpl. Stuart located an unsecured door. He checked the building, and no signs of foul play were discovered. He secured the building before officers cleared the scene. 
Sgt. Wichowski responded to a residence on Olden Street for a report of an active structure fire at the residence. Investigation appeared as though the fire could have been intentionally set. This investigation remains active and open. 
Officer Jacob Miller responded to Hubert Redburn for a disturbance in progress. He arrested one person and placed them on a 24-hour hold, pending formal charges. This case is being forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's office.
Officer Keepes responded to Lincoln Avenue in reference to a report of a verbal altercation at the residence. 
Officer Beadell completed an investigation regarding fraudulent use of a credit device. Charges will be sought against the suspect. 
Cpl. Manning conducted warrant service on Debra for a subject known to have active warrants. They located the subject and took them into custody.
Sgt. Reid responded to Johnson Street in reference to a report of a court ordered violation. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.  
Officer Keepes responded to Casey's General Store in response to a reported shoplifting incident. Charges will be sought. 
February 24
Officer Austin Deshazo responded to Missouri Avenue for an individual with a warrant. 
Officer Miller received a report on Porter Wagoner Boulevard for stealing not in progress. This case will be forwarded to the prosecuting attorney's office. 
Officer Beadell responded to Johnson Street for an arrest warrant. 
February 25
Officer Martin conducted a security check on a parked vehicle at James Monroe Buck Park. A consent search discovered drug paraphernalia. He issued the driver a citation.
Officer Shell took a report of a domestic situation.
