September 30
Officer Chris Barrett spoke with an individual reporting medical equipment stolen from their home.
Cpl. Thomas Manning conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, he discovered a controlled substance and arrested the driver. 
Officer Robert Shell conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, he discovered a controlled substance and arrested the driver. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review. 
October 1
Officer Connor Burnes received a report that a juvenile had nicotine products. This case will be sent to the Juvenile Office. 
Officer Dobbs took a report of a court order violation. This case will be open, pending further information from the victim. 
Cpl. Manning conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle for a traffic violation. Both passenger and driver were also found to be in possession of a firearm and controlled substance with drug paraphernalia. Officers also found one of the vehicle's occupants to be a convicted felon. They arrested both occupants and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. 
October 2
While conducting business checks Cpl. Wesley Stuart located an unsecured door at a business on Preacher Roe Blvd. He did not locate anyone inside the business, and nothing appeared to have been tampered with. 
Officers received a Technical Assistance Request from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC.) The request is to identify child victims in a series of files depicting child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The child victims are suspected as residing in Howell County. The investigation is ongoing. 
Officer Brent Keepes spoke to an individual reporting a theft at a residence on Tiffany Street. 
Officer Kerley investigated a one-vehicle accident and found the driver suspected of driving while intoxicated.
Cpl. Micah McKemie located an individual with outstanding warrants. The suspect fled from officers and charges will be sought.
Officer Kerley responded to Jackson Street in regard to a runaway juvenile. They transferred the juvenile to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment. 
October 3
Officer Daiman Meyer arrested one individual on an outstanding warrant.
Sgt. Joshua Wichowski responded to Hampton Inn for a report of a confused elderly individual. He turned the individual over to a friend for assistance. 
Officer Barrett arrested one individual for an outstanding warrant. 
Officer Burnes received notice of a sex offender within 500 feet of a school. This case is under investigation. 
Officer Kerley responded to Porter Wagoner Blvd regarding a report of trespassing. They later trespassed an individual from the location. 
October 4
Officer Dobbs responded to 10Box Cost Plus grocery store located on Kentucky Avenue for a report of stealing. This case is open for further investigation. 
Officer Burnes received a report a juvenile had nicotine products. This case will be sent to the Juvenile Office. 
Officer Barrett responded to Columbus Street for a report of stealing.
October 5
Officer Jerry Mingus responded to Kentucky for a report of stealing. Investigation found two bottles of alcohol stolen and video footage obtained of the possible suspect. 
Officer Shell arrested one individual for an outstanding warrant.
October 6
Officer Gill responded to Gibson Avenue for a report of a natural gas leak. Officers cleared the scene for the West Plains Fire Department who indicated there was no leak. 
Cpl. Stephens investigated a leaving the scene crash on Washington Ave. They later located the driver and arrested a juvenile male. The juvenile will be facing several felony charges and misdemeanor charges and traffic violations.
Officer Deshazo received a report of a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle before receiving the report and found a juvenile took the vehicle. A report will be referred to the juvenile office for review. 
Cpl. Manning arrested one individual from Johnson St on an outstanding warrant.
