Officer Daiman Meyer responded to an alarm call on Winchester. He found an unsecured door at the residence and found nothing suspicious within the residence after a search.
Officer Austin Deshazo spoke to an individual wishing to report harassment. The victim did not want to pursue charges.
Officer Robert Shell responded to Lincoln Ave for a call to assist the Children's Division with an investigation.
Officer Brent Keepes spoke to an individual in reference to a child custody order violation. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.
Officer Jerry Mingus responded to Walker St for a report of an animal bite. Investigation found the owner’s cat had been attacked by a dog running at large.
Officer Jacob Beadell responded to Jackson Street for a report of an assault. Investigation found injuries on the victim, and they arrested the suspect and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. This case will be forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
November 12
Sgt. Joshua Wichowski spoke to an individual reporting an assault and court order violation. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. This case remains active and under further investigation.
Officer Deshazo responded to Johnson Street, for a report of a disturbance involving a firearm. Investigation discovered no disturbance occurred and they transported the individual reporting the incident to OZH on a 96-hour hold for mental evaluation.
Officer Kerley responded to Sixth Street regarding property damage. Investigation found the suspect resided at the residence and had verbal issues with his girlfriend and parents.
Officer Kerley responded to Sixth Street regarding an assault. Investigation discovered a son pushed his father, injured him, and ran from officers. They located the son and transported them to the West Plains City Jail. This case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
November 13
Officer Shell arrested one individual on an outstanding warrant.
The South Central Drug Task Force requested digital forensics performed on a cellular device as part of an on-going investigation within their jurisdiction. They completed the process. The device and forensic report will be provided to the case agent.
Det. Joe Neuschwander spoke to the parents of a juvenile female reported that an adult male had electronically communicated with their daughter for the purpose of meeting. The matter will be under investigation.
Officer Kerley spoke to an individual reporting a lost wallet and stolen money.
An individual on Broadway Ave flagged down Officer Kerley to report a court order violation. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutors Office.
November 14
Cpl. Wesley Stuart responded to Porter Wagoner Blvd for a court order violation report. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office
Officer Meyer located an unsecured church in the area of Curry Street. He cleared and secured the building.
Officer Ivie Powell spoke to an individual reporting they lost their wallet and after recovering it, discovered their debit card missing. Transactions on his back account confirmed its use. This matter remains under investigation.
Officer Powell arrested one individual for an outstanding warrant.
Officer Kerley spoke to an individual reporting harassment in their workplace.
November 15
Officer Dobbs arrested one individual for outstanding warrants.
Officer Kerley responded to Amyx Street in regards to a stealing report. This case will be forwarded to the West Plains Detective Division for assistance in identifying a possible suspect.
Officer Kerley responded to Jackson Street in regard to a peace disturbance. Investigation found a juvenile armed themselves. They transferred the juvenile to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.
November 16
Officer Meyer responded to First Street for a report of shots fired. Investigation discovered three subjects apprehended for multiple offenses. This case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office for review.
Officer Deshazo responded to Big Deer Run for a report of stealing. The incident will be considered open pending further information.
Officer Shell arrested one individual from Porter Wagoner Blvd for stealing.
Officer Shell arrested one individual from Preacher Roe Blvd for stealing. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Officer Beadell investigated a report of stealing from Fourth Street. This case will be forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
November 17
Officer Barrett took a report of a stolen bicycle from East Olden Street.
Officer Nathaniel Siegrist responded to McFarland Ave for a report of an individual chased by another. They arrested one individual and later released them for medical treatment. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officer Mingus responded to Gibson Ave for a report of property damage. A driver intentionally struck another vehicle due to being angry at the other driver.
Officer Gill took a report of a domestic assault from East Third Street. The victim did not wish to pursue charges.
