Calls for Service
December 20
Officer Daimen Meyer conducted a safety check on two individuals parked in the lot of a closed business. They found both individuals intoxicated. This case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office and the Howell County Juvenile Office for review. 
Officer Siegrist took a report of a court order violation.
December 21
Officer Dobbs responded to West Plains Motel for a report of domestic assault. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutors office. 
Officer Shell responded to a call of a burglary in progress near Bruce Smith Parkway. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review. 
Officer Shell responded to a call of a disturbance in progress near Broadway Blvd. and 1st St where he arrested one individual. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
Officer Siegrist responded to the intersection of US Highway 160 and Ramseur Road in reference to a two-vehicle crash with the roadway blocked. Investigation learned there were two fatalities. This case is still open pending further investigation. 
December 22
Officer Shell conducted warrant service on two individuals, arresting both. 
December 23
Officer Robert Shell arrested one individual on outstanding warrants.
December 24
Officer Gill arrested one individual on outstanding warrants.
Officer Jesse Martin responded to Snappy Mart #11 for a disturbance. He found an extremely intoxicated individual and placed them on a 12 hour hold for their safety.
Officer Conner Burnes received notice of an unattended death. Investigation did not locate evidence of foul play, and officers noted the individual’s bad health. This case will be closed.
Officers Keepes and Kerley responded to Lincoln Avenue following a report of suspicious circumstances involving a female screaming for help. Investigation learned a physical domestic altercation occurred between a male and female in a romantic relationship. Both were taken into custody.  
Officer Keepes responded to Crestwood Circle for a report of a disturbance. Investigation found an assault took place and arrested the suspect. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Officer Meyer conducted a traffic stop and arrested one individual on an outstanding warrant.
While conducting an investigation for court order violation and child custody issues, Officer Ivie Powell learned the male had an active arrest warrant issued from Cabool Police Department. He arrested the individual and returned the child to the mother.
Officer Jacob Beadell responded to Walnut Street for a disturbance. He arrested one individual for burglary. This case will be referred to the Prosecuting Attorney’s office. 
Officer Burnes investigated a vehicle crash off Hoglen. The case is under investigation.
December 26
Officer Chris Barrett responded to Ransom Road for a report of an intoxicated individual. He located a subject having a hard time walking or standing and almost fell into the creek. He placed the individual on a 12-hour protective hold.
 Officer Keepes received a report of a runaway juvenile. He located the juvenile and returned them to a parent.
Officer Kerley responded to 9th Street regarding a dog bite. Investigation found an owner broke up a dog fight, and then his own dog bit him. Officers impounded the dog for quarantine.
While conducting a traffic stop, Officer Meyer arrested a passenger for an outstanding arrest warrant.
December 27
While conducting a traffic stop, Officer Meyer arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated.
Officer Beadell responded to Kentucky Ave for a report of trespassing. After issuing the subject a citation, officers escorted the individual from the premises.
Officer Dobbs responded to Cass Street for a report of an out-of-control juvenile. They transported the juvenile to Ozarks healthcare for a mental evaluation. They later transferred the juvenile to the Howell County Juvenile Office. This case is closed.  
Officer Powell responded to the area of Deatherage and Melissa Place in reference to a juvenile attempting to run away from their parent’s vehicle. He detained the juvenile and transported them to the Howell County Juvenile Office. 
Officer Dobbs took a report of a stolen vehicle. This case is under investigation.
Officer Dobbs spoke to an individual reporting an assault. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutors Office.
December 28
Cpl. Brandon Stephens received a report from a business owner regarding thefts. This report is still open and under investigation. 
Officer Nathaniel Siegrist responded to Westmont in reference to a death investigation. This case is considered closed at this time with no foul play suspected.
December 29
Officer Jerry Mingus took a report of theft of items from a facility.
While conducting a traffic stop, Officer Beadell arrested one individual on an outstanding warrant.
Officer Gill responded to Second Street for a report of a verbal domestic. Investigation learned one individual had an active protection order against another. Officers arrested the subject, and charges will be filed with the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.
Officer Siegrist took a report of animal abuse.
