October 1
An unresponsive female was reported. The woman, a hospice patient, was reported deceased on the scene. 
A male subject purchased five firearms from C&R Gun, using a closed account. The suspect was located and arrested, and the guns were recovered. 
A traffic stop was conducted on Jasper Drive for failing to use a turn signal. The driver was arrested on a Texas County warrant. 
October 2
A domestic disturbance was reported on West Main. The female party involved in the incident stated that she did not want the male at her residence any longer. The man gathered his belongings and left the residence. 
A minor was observed coming out of Snappy Mart, carrying alcohol. The teen was issued a citation for minor in possession, and the clerk was issued a citation for supplying alcohol to a minor. 
October 3
Two dogs were reported loose, and on the front porch of a residence on East Main. The owner of the dogs was told that a citation would be issued the next time the dogs were found loose. 
A female subject found a wallet near Love’s. Contact information of the owner of the wallet was found inside, and the owner was able to be contacted. The wallet’s owner came to the police department to get the wallet. 
A loose dog was reported in the parking lot of G&W Foods. The owner of the dog was located, and a warning was given to keep the dog contained. 
A domestic assault was reported on East 4th Street. A male suspect had broken a window, resulting in a four-year-old child receiving a laceration on the arm. The male was arrested on an active warrant from Cass County, and now faces charges of domestic assault, property damage and possession of drug paraphernalia. 
October 4
A male subject was reported walking along U.S. Highway 60, looking below the bridges. Contact was made with the male, who stated that he was homeless, and was making his way to California. The man was released, as no crime had been committed. 
October 7
A vehicle was stopped on North Ash for not having registration lights. The driver was arrested for driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated.
