February 4
Two vehicles were reported stuck at the entryway of Snappy Mart from inclement weather. Traffic had to be stopped to move the vehicles. 
A loose dog was reported at a neighboring residence. Contact was made with the owner. 
A caller reported that his phone was in his ex-girlfriend’s possession, and she had hacked all of his social media accounts. 
A caller reported receiving unwanted phone calls. The caller was advised to contact the phone company. 
February 5
One subject was booked and released on scene during a traffic stop on East Main. The driver was cited for no valid operator license and failure to register a motor vehicle. 
Family Dollar reported a shoplifter. Surveillance footage revealed that the male subject had taken an item to the restroom, where he discarded the packaging. The man left the store with the item. Stealing charges are being filed. 
A funeral escort was provided from Willow Springs Funeral Home to the city cemetery. 
February 6
A subject with known active warrants was located at Love’s Truck Stop. The subject was taken into custody without incident. 
February 7
A woman reported that her juvenile daughter was being bullied at school. The suspect in the incident is a juvenile male. 
A caller reported that they believed someone had been inside of their home on Summit. It was unclear if any items had been taken from the home. 
A caller reported finding a gold ring that appeared to be a wedding band. 
Two dogs were reported running loose near Cox Medical Clinic. 
A dog was seen running with a broken leash near Willow Tree Cafe. Animal control was unable to located the animal. 
February 8
A male subject was arrested at his home on an active warrant. 
A female suspect was caught on camera stealing items from Town and Country. The woman was intercepted by police, and the items were recovered. 
A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated on Park Street. 
A door was reported kicked in at an abandoned home on North Ash. It was discovered that, at some point, there had been items stolen from the house. 
February 9
An abandoned vehicle was located on the corner of East 3rd Street and Pine. A notice to tow the vehicle was placed on the window after no record was found.
