Calls for Service
December 2
A caller reported that a male subject, who had been trespassed from an apartment on East Main, was staying in another apartment with another tenant. 
Contact was made with a resident at Willow Care Nursing Home. The resident believed he had been kidnapped, after having been transferred from a Springfield facility. Arrangements were made to transfer the resident back to his personal residence in Houston. 
A residential security alarm was activated on East Park Street. Contact was made with the occupant of the home, who stated everything was fine. 
December 3
A counterfeit bill was discovered at Grace 365 on Main Street. It is uncertain as to when the bill was received. 
December 4
A possible overdose was reported on Garfield. A woman was transported from the scene to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment. 
A male subject reported the violation of a court-ordered custody agreement with his ex-wife. 
Waggoner Home Center reported a male subject that was inhaling aerosol in the parking lot. 
A noise complaint was received at an apartment building on East 6th Street. 
December 5
A vehicle hit a deer on U.S. Highway 60/63, just east of the State Route 137 exit. 
December 6
A report was received of a possible fight in progress on West 4th Street. It was discovered that a subject at that location had been yelling at dogs and was wrestling with one of them that was trying to get away. No fight was discovered. 
A verbal domestic was reported on Garfield. A woman was trespassed from the property, and a report of stolen property was taken. 
December 7
A citation was issued for an unfit dwelling on 4th Street. The property has been deemed unfit for several months, and the occupant was advised that a citation would be issued, if repairs were not made. 
A male subject reported receiving harassing text messages. The female owner of the phone number from where the messages were sent from denied sending them. The woman was advised that if she had sent any such message, she needed to cease any future harassing messages.
December 8
A female subject on Garfield reported that someone had tried to take a vehicle from the property and had sent other individuals to the property to take items.
Contact was made with a male subject on South Harris who had an active warrant from Wright County. Drug paraphernalia and six grams of marijuana were seized when the subject was arrested.
A report of a possible domestic disturbance in progress led to three citations being issued. A male subject was cited for property damage and two counts of assault. 
A woman reported receiving harassing messages on Snapchat, from a Mountain View resident. Mountain View Police were advised and contact with the sender of the messages was going to be attempted. 
December 9
Assistance was given to the Children’s Division for an interview with a male subject. 
Amatts Truck Body and Sandblasting reported the theft of a log splitter from the business. 
A report was received of a vehicle sitting at a low water bridge on Frisco. The vehicle was gone on arrival.
