Officer Joby Hoopes received information of a possible puppy breeder scam in the area.
Officer Ryan McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses.
Cpl. Hocking and Officer McGinnis responded to a disturbance on Park St. 
Officers spoke to six individuals requesting information or assistance and issued one traffic warning.
July 5
Officer McGinnis responded to assist EMS with an intoxicated and unconscious subject. When arriving, Officer McGinnis observed several minors intoxicated. All parties involved will be receiving citations for minor in possession.
Officer Hoopes received a report of interference with child custody. 
Officer McGinnis assisted EMS on E High St.
Officer Hoopes assisted EMS on N Harris St.
Cpl. Hocking conducted a requested wellbeing check on E High St.
Officers spoke to six individuals requesting information or assistance and issued one traffic warning.
July 6
Officer McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses.
Officer Hoopes attempted a requested wellbeing check on Sunshine Dr but did not locate the individual.

July 7
Cpl. Hocking conducted a security check on an abandoned vehicle.
Officer McGinnis conducted a security check on a vehicle on W. Tenth.
Officer Barnhouse conducted security checks on local businesses.
Officer Gates assisted a highway patrol officer with a hit and run accident.
Officer Barnhouse assisted the fire department on old Springfield Rd. 
Officers issued three traffic warnings.
July 8
Officer McGinnis responded to G & W for a report of shoplifting. Video evidence revealed a subject taking an item from the store. The store manager requested the individual trespassed from the store. Officer Gates located the individual and issued the trespass order.
Chief Ellison received information of theft and property damage from a location on Lane Street.
Officers issued three traffic warnings.
July 9
Sgt. Struble responded to a commercial alarm on N Ferguson St. He made contact with the manager.
Sgt. Struble assisted with an animal call on N Summit.
Officer Barnhouse conducted security checks on local businesses.
Chief Ellison and Officer Gates assisted a motorist on W Main.
Cpl. Hocking assisted a motorist on US Hwy 63.
Officers responded to a vehicle accident with injuries at US 60/63 and Pine Grove Road. They forwarded the information to the highway patrol.
Sgt. Struble conducted a requested wellbeing check on E Main St.
Chief Ellison placed safety barrels on Center Street for flooding.
Sgt. Struble closed W Main St due to flooding.

July 10
Officer Barnhouse responded to a commercial alarm E Main and contacted an employee.
Officer Barnhouse assisted a Howell County deputy on E Main St.
Officer McGinnis and Sgt. Struble responded to E Main St for a disturbance.
