June 13

Officer Barnhouse received a referral from the Children's Division regarding a possible assault. Investigation determined the incident occurred in another jurisdiction. The information from the case will be forwarded to that jurisdiction for further investigation.

Officer Barnhouse responded to US 60 for a report of a non-injury accident of a car versus a deer.

Cpl. Hocking and Animal Control removed a deceased animal from the roadway on West Main.

Officer McGinnis completed a requested wellbeing check on West Fourth Street.

Cpl. Hocking completed a requested wellbeing check on East Main Street.

Officer McGinnis responded to West Fourth Street for a verbal disturbance. The parties separated for the night.

June 14

Officer McGinnis investigated a non-injury vehicle accident in Casey's Parking Lot.

Cpl. Hocking and Officer Barnhouse responded to a residence on Belshe Ave in reference to a domestic between a mother and son. Interviews with witnesses led to the arrest of the son with charges for simple assault through the city.

Officer Barnhouse responded to Belshe Avenue for a verbal disturbance.

Officer McGinnis completed a requested wellbeing check on East Main Street.

Officers spoke to nine individuals requesting information or assistance and issued one traffic warning.

June 15

Officers Barnhouse and Heddleston responded to an address on State Route 76 for a report of property damage from a juvenile. Investigation revealed the juvenile fled from the scene after the incident occurred. A juvenile referral and a PC statement will be sent to the juvenile office seeking charges for property damage. The incident is still under investigation.

Officer Hedlesten completed a wellbeing check on Fourth Street.

Officer Barnhouse responded to State Route 76 for a verbal disturbance.

Officer Barnhouse assisted a homeowner with a trespassed person.

Officer McGinnis responded to East Main for an alarm call.

Officer McGinnis responded for a report of a suicide attempt. He and EMS spoke with the individual.

June 17

Officer Barnhouse responded to the Willow Springs Wastewater treatment plant on County Road 5640 for a report of vandalism. Investigation determined a large amount of property damage occurred. The investigation is still ongoing.

Officer Gates spoke with a parent complaining of harassment and threats against their child by another juvenile while at the city pool.

Officer Wickens conducted security checks of local businesses.

June 18

Sgt. Struble assisted EMS with a wellbeing check on East High Street.
