Officers and EMS conducted a safety check on the subject, who refused care. They arrested the driver for felony driving while intoxicated. Charges have been sent to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's office for review.

Officer Hedlesten conducted a traffic stop on US Hwy 60/63. The vehicle fled the scene. After a short pursuit, officers discontinued the chase for safety concerns. Charges will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutor.
