Calls for Service 
May 20
Animal control was dispatched to a dog call on Harris. 
A residential alarm sounded in Hickory Hills. The homeowner was having trouble with the alarm, and was assisted in disarming it. 
May 21
A suspicious vehicle was reported at Booster Field. When contact was made with the driver, it was determined that he was parked there to use the WiFi. 
Snappy Mart reported a theft from its gaming machines. 
A resident on 4th Street reported stolen items. Statement forms were left with the alleged victim to return.  
EMS requested assistance with a call. 
Officer Thomas responded to an argument between three juveniles. The juveniles were given rides home, and Officer Thomas spoke with the parents. 
A verbal domestic disturbance was reported on North Grand St. 
May 22
Officer Clark assisted a motorist whose car had broken down near Snappy Mart, until a tow truck arrived. 
Sergeant responded to a private property accident. Neither involved party wished to have a report taken. 
May 23
An intoxicated female was reportedly causing a disturbance on Ash Street. 
A resident on Ash Street was burning trash in their yard. The resident was advised that only yard debris could be burned. 
Sergeant Huffman responded to a possible break-in on Fourth St. While the doors to the home were open, the house was abandoned. 
Stickers were removed from a stop sign at the four-way stop. 
May 24
A resident on State Route 76 reported a possible break-in attempt. While no one was found on the scene, the reporting party stated that she heard rattling at her back door, and saw two males wearing hoodies. 
A resident on Walnut reported that her motion lights were being repeatedly triggered. The area was secured, and extra patrol was provided for the evening. 
May 25
A lost wallet was turned in to Officer Thomas. A message was left for the owner of the wallet, stating that the wallet could be picked up at the police department.
