A resident on Sassafrass received a text from an unknown person that sounded like a suicidal note. A well-being check was attempted on the person who sent the text. 
June 4
A caller reported being harassed at Love’s truck stop. The caller had left upon officer arrival. 
A man stated that he saw two suspicious subjects on Ferguson. Extra patrol was requested in the area. 
A woman reported that she was driving on Harris when a flatbed truck with a drop trailer sped past her, throwing rocks onto her vehicle and causing damage. 
June 5
A man contacted police about getting a vehicle, which he claimed to own, out of impound. Midway Towing stated that they would not be able to release the vehicle to the man because the vehicle was not registered to him. Confirmation of ownership would need to be made by the person to whom the vehicle is registered. 
June 7
A stray dog was reported going in and out of Snappy Mart. The dog was taken to the pound, and pictures of it were posted on Facebook. 
A man was reportedly screaming at people in the lobby of Comfort Inn. A side mirror was reportedly torn from the side of his vehicle during the night, and he was demanding that Comfort Inn pay for the damages. 
A driver reported having car troubles at the exit ramp near Love’s. 
A male subject reported that a female had been harassing him all night. The female subject stated that the male had not brought their daughter back home, and that she could not get in touch with the male subject. 
A caller reported that a man and woman walked past her home while arguing. Someone yelled at the couple that they would call the police. The caller stated that the male subject rang her doorbell and asked who had yelled.
A female subject reported someone yelling about a parking spot on 6th Street. The woman stated that she is yelled at every time she goes into the parking lot. 
A male subject kicked in a door at a duplex to collect his belongings. A statement for sexual abuse was also filled out following the breakup of the man and his girlfriend, who had been living at the duplex. 
A woman came to the police department, regarding custody issues. Civil remedies were provided to the woman. 
A woman reported that she was being abused and was afraid to go home. The woman was advised to fill out a statement. 
A 14-year-old was reportedly refusing to go back inside the resident of her guardian, rolling an argument. Juvenile services provided a resolution that was agreed upon by all involved parties. 
June 8
Cows were reported in the roadway on Pine Grove Road. 
A woman reported that she found her vehicle unblocked. She stated that she was unsure if any items were missing from the vehicle. 
A piece of steel was found wrapped in electrical tape on East Main. The item was confiscated and destroyed. 
A man stated that while he was panhandling outside of MUNCH, he was solicited for sex. 
Shots were reported on North Ash. The source of the gunfire was not located. 
June 9
Assistance was requested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol at the car wash on East Main. 
A caller stated that he witnessed a male subject pushing a motorcycle toward Pine Grove Road and believed that the man may have stolen the motorcycle. The suspect was not located, and no motorcycle was reported stolen. 
A dog was reported running loose and acting aggressively on North Ash. The owner of the dog stated that the dog had a tumor, and that was why it was acting aggressively. The owner was given a warning a was advised to control the animal. 
A funeral escort was provided to the city cemetery. 
June 10
Two males were reported on the property at First Baptist Church. The two males stated that they were getting out of the sun for a few minutes and agreed to leave the property when asked. 
A harassing note was reportedly left on the door of an apartment on East Sixth Street. No one claims to have seen who left the note.
