Calls for Service 
August 20
A woman was reported having a seizure on Scott Street. The woman was taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. 
A couple reported an incident of suspected stalking. The couple reported that a suspect had asked the male subject for a ride. It is believed this was an effort to lure the male subject away from the residence, leaving the female subject alone. Increased patrol was conducted in the area. 
August 21
A resident reported that they had chickens and ducks killed by a neighbor dog that they had been having problems with. The reporting party was advised that the animal control officer would be in contact with the owner of the dog. 
August 23
Assistance was given to a Howell County Sheriff’s Deputy at Split Oaks Logistics to clear the building after a door was found unlocked. Another building at the location was also found to have an unlocked door. The scene was cleared after no one was found at the location. 
A report was received of a male subject possibly trying to break into vehicles at Love’s. Contact was made with the man, who stated that he was a traveling construction worker, and that he had stopped there to rest before traveling on to his job site in Kansas City. The man had no outstanding warrants. 
August 24
Adams Towing reported that a section of fence had been removed, and that a vehicle had been stolen from the lot. 
August 25
An unlocked gate was observed at the quarry on Frisco. A building check card was left at the business after the area was checked.
