A suspicious vehicle was reported in the parking lot of the First General Baptist Church. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Nothing was found to be damaged or missing at the church.

A woman reported that she had heard a man screaming on North Ash. No person was located in the area. 
September 20
Multiple residents requested a well-being check for a transient person who was seen in town wearing two backpacks. The man had given different stories of where he was trying to go, and some worried that the man might have dementia.

A woman reported that her daughter was missing. The woman called back later to report that she had located her daughter. 
A counterfeit bill was used for payment at Snappy Mart. The incident is under investigation.

A well-being check was conducted at a residence on Corn for a possible suicidal person. Contact was made with the person, and the scene was cleared.

An operator of a motorcycle was arrested after a traffic stop on East Valley. Along with having two active warrants out of West Plains, the man was also in possession of controlled substances. The man was released to the custody of the West Plains Police Department.
