Acklin Boys Still Cheering for the Eagles

The Eagles had two Liberty alumni and former football standouts on the sidelines at Friday’s game. Brothers Jaelon and Jaris Acklin, sons of previous head coach Darin Acklin, mingled with the players and coaches the entire game. Jaelon is an American professional Canadian football wide receiver for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. Younger brother Jaris is a backup quarterback at Evangel University.

Another brother, Jansen Acklin, just graduated from Evangel and is now on the coaching staff as Special Teams Coordinator.
