JV Bears take first place in Mansfield tournament

The junior varsity squad won every game in their foray at the 87th Annual Mansfield Invitational Boys basketball tourney last week. Their first match-up was against Gloria Deo Academy on Dec. 5, and the JV boys walked away with the W 44 to 36. On Thursday, they played Bakersfield and in a narrow 54 to 53 win advanced to play for first against RUSH Sr. Home School. The boys from Willow Springs dominated the contest, and took the first place win after a score of 63 to 47.
