Karsyn Smith named Head Softball Coach for 2024 season

As the new head coach, Karsyn Smith will lead the West Plains High School softball team into the fall 2024 season. Smith is currently the assistant coach for the softball program and a West Plains High School History teacher. 

 

"I am excited for the opportunity to lead the Lady Zizzer softball program. As a Zizzer Alumna, I am honored to lead the next level of talented athletes," says Smith. 

 

"I am thrilled for Karsyn's well-deserved promotion. She is enthusiastic about the program and has a high regard for education-based athletics," says Dr. Cooley – District Activities Director. 

 

Under Smith's leadership, the West Plains High School softball team looks forward to a season of determination, growth, and success.
