Sambo Hine Athlete of the Year Award

The recipient of the Sambo Hine Athlete of the Year Award is that athlete who best represents his or her school through excellence in athletics during both practices and interscholastic competition, with consideration given to his or her contribution to the total school program during a minimum of two sport seasons in one school year. This award is voted on by the coaches. 
This year’s boys’ Sambo Hine Athlete of the year is Justin Chaney. Justin played football, basketball and tennis. He graduated ranked #3 out of 76 in class of 2020 with a 3.992 his senior year.

This year’s girls’ Sambo Hine Athlete of the year is Alyssa Von Allmen. Alyssa played volleyball and basketball. She was valedictorian of her class, being ranked #1 out of 76 in class of 2021 with a 4.015 her senior year.
