Varsity Boys Baseball

Willow Springs Bears Baseball currently sits at 5-10 on the season. The Bears saw two games last week where they got a victory over the Mountain Grove Panthers 8-5 followed by a loss to the Cabool Bulldogs 1-6. Next up for the Bears are three away games, Houston on April 22, Hartville on April 23 and Ava on April 24. The next home game for the Bears will be April 26 against Bakersfield.

 

Varsity Girls Softball

The Willow Springs Lady Bears are sitting at a season record of 16-4. The Lady Bears hosted the Cabool Bulldogs where they claimed a big victory of 16-1 and then another on April 16 against Springfield Catholic 13-1.  The following away game at Houston on April 18 was a loss 7-10 followed by a fielding win of 7-0 against Koshkonong on April 19. Next up for the Lady Bears are two away games at Van Buren on April 23, Ava on April 24, and a home game against Winona on April 26. Before districts, the Lady Bears will travel to Summersville on April 29.

 

Varsity Boys Tennis

The Willow Springs Bears tennis team is 8-6 on the season after two big wins against Mountain Grove on April, 9-0 and at Licking on April 15, 9-0. The team hosted Rolla on April 16, where they took a loss 1-8 and then defeated Houston on April 18, 7-2. The team ended the week at the Reeds Spring Invitational. Next up for the tennis team, is a home match on April 22 against Reeds Spring followed by the SCA tournament on April 24. The next home action for the Bears will be on April 30 against Salem.
