Willow Springs runners compete in the Missouri Southern Stampede

The Willow Springs Cross Country team competed in the Missouri Southern Stampede held in Joplin, MO on Saturday, Sept. 17. The top 25 runners medaled.
In the Varsity Boys Gold Division 5K, Carson Smith placed 8th with a time of 17:04.65; Matthew Miller placed 32nd with a time of 17:59.40; Nolan Perkins placed 46th with a time of 18:24.44; Jeven Poyner placed 146th with a time of 21:12.73 and Aaron Gray placed 183rd with a time of 22:40.51.
In the Varsity Girls Gold Visiion 5K, Hailey-Jade Unruh placed 32nd with a time of 22:02.26.
In the Junior Varsity Girls Division 3k, Kylie Smith placed 127th with a time of 17:31.69.
