Annual Tootsie Roll Fund Drive

The annual Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Fund Drive for Persons with Developmental Disabilities will be held October 8-9. The drive will be conducted by members of Bishop Fulton Sheen Council Number 7442, based in Willow Springs. This will be the 42nd consecutive year the drive has been conducted locally.

Members will be accepting donations on these dates at G & W Foods, Town and Country Supermarket, and Tractor Supply. Look for the red and yellow aprons. Those donating money will receive a Tootsie Roll as a "thank you." One-half of the net proceeds each year are donated to the Knights of Columbus Developmental Center at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis. The other half is donated locally to an organization providing services to developmentally delayed persons.
