Campus update, enrollment and recruitment topics of Sept. 11 Friends of the Garnett Library meeting

Officials with the Friends of the Garnett Library invite all to attend the first meeting for the 2026-2027 academic year, on Sept. 11 from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Carol Silvey Student Union, located inside Hass-Darr Hall, 201 Garfield Avenue.

 

The meeting will begin with a brief campus update by Chancellor Mulligan. Then the program will focus on enrollment and recruitment. A panel of speakers will include Marc Hubbell, assistant director of recruitment, and a few of the second-year student ambassadors.

 

Cost of the lunch is $10, payable at the door. Those wishing to eat should make a reservation by calling 417-255-7940 or emailing FriendsofGarnettLibrary@MissouriState.edu by Sept. 9.

 

“Everyone is welcome to attend,” organizers said. “We welcome you as a guest, or you can find out about joining the organization at the meeting.”
