Block Party Kicked off the Weekend in Willow

A block party organized by Main Street Willow Springs was the first event in a string of festivities for the Fourth of July weekend. Held in downtown Willow Springs, the event featured a free BBQ meal, live music, and games and sprinklers for children. Participants roamed the streets while the smell of the grill pervaded the air, eating or chatting in small groups.
The cornhole sets were popular among the children and teens in attendance, and live music was provided by the Rhubarb Jam Band.
