At the City Council meeting on May 21, the Board of Aldermen unanimously passed a motion authorizing Mayor Fair to sign a lease with Children’s Behavioral Services, LLC for the use of the Missouri Department of Transportation District 9 Headquarters facility.
Children’s Behavioral Services is a children’s therapy clinic serving children with Autism or other developmental disabilities in Howell and surrounding counties.
Owner Amanda Riviello wrote in a letter to the City that she anticipates expanding her business into the MODOT facility could add ten jobs to the local economy. Riviello addressed the Council at the regular May meeting and commented on her plans to make a considerable investment in the space to build a sensory gymnasium for her clients that may potentially be open to all Willow Springs children in the future.
Children’s Behavioral Services will execute a lease with the City, with MODOT’s approval, for a period of three years.
