Fatal Crash Claims Life of Winona Man

Kerry Norris, 55, of Winona, did not survive a one-car crash that took place on April 30. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as Norris’s GMC traveled off US Highway 60 one mile east of Mountain View. The vehicle went down the embankment and overturned. Norris was ejected in the crash; he was not wearing a seat belt. Shannon County Coroner Sam Murphy pronounced the driver dead at the scene at 4:49 p.m.

This crash is Troop G’s seventh fatal crash in 2020, compared to six fatalities for the same time period in 2019.
