Privette To Serve as Special Judge on Appeals Case

Steven Privette, Presiding Judge of the 37th Circuit which includes Howell, Oregon, Shannon, and Carter counties, has been appointed by the Missouri Supreme Court as a Special Judge to sit in a case on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, in Springfield, MO. 
“It’s a great honor to be selected,” said Judge Privette. The case to which Judge Privette was appointed involved an appeal from Circuit Court of Greene County. He, along with Appeal Court Judges Mary Sheffield, and Gary Lynch, will be overseeing the case. 
The Court of Appeals hears cases that have been appealed from the Circuit Court of each of the counties in the State of Missouri. There are three divisions of the Court of Appeals, the Eastern, Western, and Southern districts. The 37th Circuit is in the Southern District.
