Route K in Webster, Douglas Counties Reduced for Resurfacing

Drivers can expect lane closures and occasional traffic delays on Route K in Webster and Douglas Counties for a resurfacing project beginning the week of April 18, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Contractor crews will resurface Route K between U.S. Route 60 in Seymour, Missouri and Missouri Route 14 west of Ava, Missouri.

Work on Route K will be done during daytime hours, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., all lanes open to traffic at night

Drivers will encounter flaggers and pilot cars where crews are working. Drivers should wait for the pilot vehicle before proceeding through the work zone or before entering the work zone from a side road.

There is no signed detour. Drivers should find alternate routes. Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone.
