West Plains Woman Seriously Hurt in Rollover Crash

Amanda Sympson, 41, of West Plains, was air-lifted from the scene of a one-vehicle crash on Missouri Route KK five miles west of Pottersviller at 7:45 p.m. on May 31. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Sympson’s injuries were serious. 

The crash occurred as Sympson’s Chevrolet Tahoe traveled off the right side of the road, hitting a utility pole and embankment before overturning into a fence. The vehicle came to a rest on its side. Sympson was ejected. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
