WSFD Recognized for Efforts in West Plains

The Willow Springs Fire Department received recognition at the meeting of the Willow Springs Board of Alderman on Thursday. Mayor Brooke Fair presented the department a plaque from the City of West Plains for their exemplary work in assisting the West Plains Fire Department with various calls during the 2021 calendar year, specifically praising their hard work and team effort.  

Chief Farmer shared with the board a compliment he received about his department from West Plains Fire Department. 

"He said, 'You guys are the workers. When you guys come things get done.' My guys represented Willow Springs very well," Chief Farmer said.

He also had a couple words for outgoing Aldermen Susan Rackley and Troy Yonker. 

"I will miss you two," he said. "Our fire department has come a long way with your help. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
