Boring Caused Boil Order

The City of Mountain issued a city-wide boil order on Monday, February 28 at approximately 7:00 p.m. The order remained in effect until the afternoon of March 3.
A spokesperson for the City of Mountain View said boring work performed by US Cellular crews perforated a water main at the corner of Tom Frommel and East St. It is standard practice to issue a boil order when water lines lose pressure.
Following tests from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the Howell County Health Department, the city lifted the boil order on Thursday.
