Planning and Zoning Commission holds meeting, approves request

The West Plains Planning Commission held a regular meeting on April 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the West Plains City Hall in the council chambers. Members present included Terry Sanders, John Kenslow, Crockett Oaks, Brenda Polyard, Tina Jones and Johnny Murrel. City Clerk Allison Skinner and Building Official Dustin Harrison were also present at the meeting.
Kenslow made a motion and Oaks seconded to approve the February 10, 2022 meeting minutes. The motion passed unanimously.
Murrell made a motion, seconded by Polyard to recommend to city council a citizen request by Julie Hart for a site development plan for Hart Family Eyecare to build a new clinic on the corner lot of Broadway and Valley View Drive. The motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned.
The recommendation will be on the upcoming West Plains City Council meeting agenda set for Monday, April 18 at 5:30 p.m. at city hall.
