Willow Springs Alumni festivities May 28

The Willow Springs Alumni will hold their festivities on Saturday, May 28. Anyone who attended Willow Springs Schools is invited to attend.  
Approximately 564 letters were mailed, emails sent, Facebook posts completed, nametag blanks ordered and the menu set. The event will be held at the EAA Hangar located at 810 Bryan Street. The doors will open at 3:00 p.m. to allow for plenty of social time. There is space indoors and outdoors so bring lawn chairs. The cookout menu will consist of burgers, hot dogs and brats grilled by Adam Webb, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, chips and cold drinks. The meal be served at 5:30 p.m. There is no charge for the cookout, but donations toward the cost of copy paper, labels, envelopes, printing, postage and the meal will be greatly appreciated. There will be ample parking and shuttle services from the parking lot will be provided.  
If you are planning to attend this year, please provide your information (name, spouse, graduation year, address, phone, amd email address) by calling 417-469-1400, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by emailing WillowSpringsAlumni@gmail.com. This year along, with a mailing address, please submit an email address and phone number for future contact. For food preparation purposes, a fairly accurate attendance count is needed by May 21.
The current list of those planning to attend from out of state include: Les and Lois Spence, Barbara Skaggs, Buddy Stuart, Lou and Anita (McClellan) Shaw, Delores McClellan, Bill and Betty Burton, Kay (Mulholland) Johnson, Chuck and Mary Hord, Wanda Johnson, Charles Losh, and Barbara (Sherrill) Pigg.
Other activities for the day will include the Willow Springs Rotary Club Annual Pancake Breakfast beginning at 7:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church located on Harris Street; Reminisce at the Star Theater, the building will be open following the Rotary breakfast until 12:00 noon; and finger foods beginning at 12:00 noon at Bailey Chevrolet.
