New Years Day golf at the Thomas F. Benyo Golf Course

The Thomas F. Benyo Golf Course welcomed 2026 with the G&W OP Golf Tournament on January 1. There were 36 teams participating in the tournament, and due to numbers some teams had to be turned away.

 

Special thanks to G&W Foods and Mitch for supplying all the food for the chili. Another thank you to Tony Duddridge who did the cooking. Carl did the breaking, thanks to him and Richard. 

 

For the tournament the payne hole was #7, there were paid 4 flights, 3 places. The winners were:

 

Championship

Reese/Jungferman with a score of 29; Coatney/Collins with a score of 31; and Hick/Hicks with a score of 31.

A Flight

Benyo/West with a score of 33; Colley/Jones with a score of 33; and Grogan/Graves with a score of 33.

B Flight

Bradley/Tupper with a score of 35; Jones/Jones with a score of 35; andPendergraff/Preimer with a score of 35.

C Flight

Holt/Truman with a score of 37; Sisco/Sisco with a score of 37; and Skinner/Simandl with a score of 37.
