David W. Herring

David W. Herring, 73, of Willow Springs, Missouri passed away on July 13, 2024 in St. Louis, Mo. David was born in Eureka, California on September 26th, 1950 to Doris (Shepard) and William Herring.

David was united in marriage on February 21, 1969, to Deborah Jean Upton in Eureka, California at the First Assembly of God Church. They were blessed with two children, Lisa Ann and David Charles.

David is preceded in death by his parents, William and Doris; and brother, Don Herring.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah; children, Lisa Ann Cole and David Charles Herring; grandchildren, Devlisea Cole, Laxton Cole, Laykin Herring, Logan Herring, and Lawson Herring; great-grandchildren, Aislynn, Ameliah, Kover, Daxton, Brixton and one coming soon; brother, Richard Herring; and sisters, Debbie Lowe and Diane Clark.

David was a hard worker who enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting. David and Deborah worked together for roughly 36 years and spent little time apart. He will be dearly missed by all as his memory lives on through the large family he leaves behind. He truly made an impact on everyone's lives and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life was held at 7142 St. Route BB West Plains, MO 65775, July 20. All friends and family are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers please bring a plant that can be kept to live on in his memory. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri.
