Maria Magdalena Arauz Irving, 85, of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. She was born April 19, 1935, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, daughter of Jose and Maria (Gutierrez) Arauz Rodriguez.
Magdalena was united in marriage to Eldred Walton Irving on March 10, 1956, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and to this union, four children were born.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eldred Irving; son, Steven Irving; her parents, Jose and Maria; siblings, Enriqueta Arauz, Jose Luis Arauz, Oscar Arauz, and Alicia Arauz.
Survivors include her children, Laura Triplett and husband, Jay of Monett, MO, Alan Irving and wife, Rhonda of Jonesboro, AR, and Kevin Irving and wife, LaKeesha of Jefferson City, MO; grandchildren, Whitney Irving-Bedwell, of Jonesboro, AR, Drew Triplett of Monett, MO Zeyta Irving and Cash Irving both of Jefferson City, MO; and three great grandchildren; siblings, Esther Rodriguez of Tampico, MX, Graciela Borroto and husband, Ibrahim of Rancho Viejo, TX, Luz Maria Betancourt and husband, Mario of Tampico, MX and Cecilia Chenhalls and husband, Guillermo of Cuernavaca, MX.
Magdalena was a member of the St. John Vianney Catholic Church and the Mountain View Fidelis Club for many years.
Magdalena dedicated her life to her beloved husband, children, and grandchildren and kept her love of God, family, and friends as her foundation in life. Along with spending time with her immediate family, she enjoyed traveling to visit her extended family in Mexico as often as possible. She was an exceptionally positive person who always found a way to laugh through it all, even the tough times.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mountain View, Missouri with Father Rajarao Gona officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary. Visitation begins at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow the Mass in the St. John Vianney Catholic Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri.
