January 26

Deputy Dylan Cook took a report of stealing. 

January 27

Deputy Nicholas Barslow responded a stealing report in the area of U.S. Highway 160, Caulfield. This case will be submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

Deputy Avery Stolba spoke with Ozarks Pet Rescue regarding an animal neglect case at an address on County Road 8230, West Plains. This is an ongoing investigation.

January 28

Deputy Chancey Hambelton executed a search warrant on County Road 4350, Pomona. Officers arrested both parties and a report will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney for further review.

Deputy Kyle Holloway took a report of stealing by scam from an individual in Moody. This case is considered pending.

Corporal Timothy Gordon responded to a residence in the Mountain View area for a verbal domestic situation called in by a third party. He spoke with the parties involved and completed an investigation into the incident. 

January 29

Deputy Holloway responded to an abandoned vehicle located on County Road 6470 in West Plains. He had the vehicle towed.

Deputy Holloway took a report of a stolen animal in West Plains. This investigation is still ongoing.

January 30

Deputies investigated a report of damage to a mailbox likely caused by a firearm.

Sergeant Seth Smith took a report of harassment.

Deputy Holloway took a report of a protection order violation occurring in West Plains. 

Deputy Vice overheard radio traffic from Willow Springs PD stating a vehicle failed to stop for officers. They apprehended the suspect, took them into custody, and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending charges.

January 31

Deputy Holloway conducted a wellbeing check in Willow Springs which resulted in a hotline report being made to the Missouri Children's Division. The case will be referred to the Missouri Children's Division Prevention Unit.
