Calls for Service

May 25

Deputy Cody Voyles received a report of a domestic related incident in West Plains. The investigation will continue.

Deputy Dylan Cook, while on field training, received a call from dispatch regarding a child custody dispute. He advised both parties to seek legal counsel and update their custody agreement.

Deputy Kory Taylor received a call for service in regard to money stolen from a bank account.

May 26

Deputy Austin Ryan responded to the area of County Road 7430 for a report of littering.

Corporal Jacob Hamby investigated an incident at County Road 2010 in West Plains of possible child abuse or neglect.

Deputy Avery Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on State Route FF, Caulfield.

Deputy Stolba responded to an address on State Route JJ, West Plains, for a physical domestic altercation. The victim did not wish to pursue any charges.

Deputy Cook executed an arrest warrant at a residence located in Mountain View.

May 27

Deputy Ryan responded to the area of County Road 3580 for a requested wellbeing check.

Deputy First Class Robert Malone began an investigation into a juvenile issue report.

Corporal Hamby received a call for service at State Route WW in regard to a possible court order violation.

Deputy Stolba spoke with two individuals reporting harassment.

May 28

Deputy Austin DeShazo conducted a traffic stop on McFarland Drive and arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated.

Deputy Kyle Hambelton responded to US Highway 160, West Plains for a burglary. The case is currently under investigation.

Deputy Tyler West responded to assist the Children's Division with an investigation in the area of County Road 1650.

Deputy Holloway responded to a death investigation at a residence on County Road 7840 in Caulfield. The death appeared to be of natural causes.

May 29

Deputy West responded to a report of a dog biting an elderly female in the area of US Highway 160. EMS transported the individual.

May 30

Deputy Vice responded to a domestic altercation on County Road 8510 in West Plains. The suspect allegedly pushed the victim down a set of stairs. They placed the suspect on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Deputy Holloway responded to a wellbeing check on an individual walking on State Route ZZ in West Plains. This call for service resulted in the arrest of a different individual who arrived on the scene for driving while intoxicated and multiple other charges. A probable cause statement will be submitted to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

May 31

Corporal Hamby received a call for service in regard to a possible weapon violation in Mountain View.
