Incidents
August 2
Deputies responded to a domestic response call at a residence near Mountain View. The suspect was arrested at the scene. The victim was taken to Ozarks Medical Center for treatment. Formal charges against the suspect are pending. 
August 3
A Willow Springs woman reported the theft of a firearm at a residence on County Road 2870. The investigation continues. 
A West Plains man reported the theft of a yearling bull from a property on State Route PP. The theft is under investigation. 
A Pomona man reported that he believes someone has tampered with several electronic devices that he owns. A report was taken. 
August 5
Ozark Sheltered Industries in Pomona reported the theft of a dusk-to-dawn light fixture from the outside of a building. A report was generated. 
Deputy Rodney Harper responded to the attempted theft of a zero-turn mower from a residence on County Road 1610 in West Plains. The owner of the mower saw two men loading his mower onto a trailer when he arrived at his home. The case is under investigation. 
August 6
Deputies responded to assist the Missouri State Highway Patrol with a possible roadside domestic situation. The incident turned out to be an altercation with a third party. One subject was taken by ambulance for an injury that was several weeks old, while another subject was transported for the treatment of a fresh injury. That subject stated that he was injured when he fell onto the roadway.
