The police department was called to Malone’s Motel for an animal complaint.  Officers found a woman with a marijuana pipe in her front right pocket.

August 10
Officer Timothy Gordon responded to a call to assist Emergency Medical Services with a distressed individual.
August 11
Officer Gregory Abney went to Lazy C’s for a disturbance. There were reportedly people fighting outside. However, when the officer arrived, the parties were gone.
911 received a hang-up call from a residence on East Third St.  Officer Timothy Gordon responded to the residence.  He spoke with the residents who stated they had not purposely dialled 911 and were not in need of assistance.  Officer Gordon checked the area and then returned to service.
August 12
Officer Gregory Abney was dispatched to the apartments on Delp Rd. for a report of a suspicious vehicle.  The officer spoke with the vehicle owner who was there visiting a tenant.  
August 13
There was a disturbance report from an apartment on East James St. in which a drunken individual was reported to be sitting outside another tenant’s door.  Officer Gregory Abney responded to the residence.
Corporal Trenton Roberts went to the Valley View Apartments to obtain complaint forms that were completed on an incident.
Officer Dawnesha Scott returned a call requesting information for the legal age to move out of a parent’s home.
Officer Scott performed a wellbeing check at a residence on S. State Route 17.  The individual was fine. 
Officer Scott responded to a call regarding a traffic hazard. Reportedly, a small gray car was unable to stay in its lane on Pine St. Officer Scott was unable to locate the vehicle.
Officer Scott went to Wilford St. to assist a woman with her electric wheelchair which had gotten stuck.  
Officer Scott was a first responder to State Route W where a woman had stopped breathing. He remained there until Emergency Medical Services arrived. 
August 14
There was a report of a suspicious man sitting in the park on Pine St. with a sign asking for money.  Officer Dawnesha Scott responded and asked the man to leave City property.
Officer Scott performed a wellbeing check on a man at a residence on E. Third St.  The man needed medical attention and was transported to the hospital by Emergency Medical Services. 
August 15
Officer Gregory Abney went to a residence on Sharp St. for a report of verbal altercation between individuals. Officer Abney spoke with both parties and explained the situation in the same manner that Corporal Trenton Roberts had explained when he responded at an earlier incident. 
There was a report for a suspicious man standing around the City pool.  Officer Abney responded to the scene and removed the man.
Corporal Trenton Roberts was dispatched to Walmart for a dog inside a vehicle.  Upon arrival, the vehicle was gone.
A woman called the police station for information.  She had rented the community center but several of the doors were still locked.  Corporal Roberts provided the appropriate contact information to her. 
A Summersville woman contacted Corporal Roberts to report a stolen vehicle was possibly in Mountain View.  Corporal Roberts took the vehicle’s description in case it was spotted in the area.
Corporal Roberts followed up on a property damage report on E. Second St.  Photos and a statement were taken for the report.  
Officer Dawnesha Scott responded to a single vehicle accident on W. James St.  The airbags were deployed but there was no one inside.  Officer Scott notified the Missouri State Highway Patrol as the vehicle was located outside their jurisdiction.
August 16
A woman came to the police department to file a harassment complaint.  Corporal Trenton Roberts gave the woman the complaint form and she said she would turn it in at a later time.
Corporal Roberts went to North Ash St. for a report of a man trespassing.  Corporal Roberts checked the area, and the person could not be located.  The reporting party stated that she was mistaken, that the person did not actually come onto her property and no crime was committed.
Corporal Roberts again went to N. Ash St. for a report of a man trespassing.  He checked the area, and the man was already gone.
Officer Timothy Gordon was flagged down by an individual to report their neighbors were having a domestic dispute.  Officer Gorden drove through the area and the disturbance stopped as he arrived and he was unable to locate the parties involved.  Officer Gordon advised the reporting individual to call back if the dispute continued.
The Howell County Sheriff’s Office contacted Corporal Roberts stating a vehicle was shooting a gun on County Road 3440 and was traveling towards the city limits.  No vehicle description was given, and Corporal Roberts was unable to locate any vehicle shooting guns.
Officer Timothy Gordon responded to an ongoing domestic dispute that had been previously reported on E. James St.  Officer Gordon handled the situation and cleared the scene.
