A reporting party requested officer assistance with her juvenile son. Officer Dawnesha Scott responded. On scene, contact was made with the Juvenile Officer who advised the minor should be taken to the hospital. 
Officer Gregory Abney responded to US Highway 60 and Elm St. for a report of a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident with injuries. 
December 30
Officer Timothy Gordon responded to Signal for a report of a two-person domestic disturbance in the parking lot. The officer made contact and observed both parties to be intoxicated. Both subjects claimed nothing had happened. Officer Gordon did not observe any signs of a physical altercation, and both parties continued to be uncooperative. He cleared the scene without further incident. 
January 3
Corporal Trenton Roberts was contacted by a woman who had caught a skunk in a live trap and wanted it removed. Agents from the Missouri Department of Conservation removed the animal safely from the residence. 
Corporal Roberts was dispatched to Malone’s Motel for a report of possible drug activity. No controlled substances were found. 
Corporal Roberts was dispatched to Malone’s Motel for a report of a woman beating on doors and screaming in the parking lot. The officer made contact with the woman and gave her a verbal warning to stop her disruptive behavior. 
Corporal Roberts responded to a request to check on a dog on W. Second St. The animal had already been checked and was receiving adequate care. 
West Plains Police Department requested assistance to help locate the parents of a child in their custody. The parents did not live at the address provided. 
 
 
Incidents

Officer Gordon arrested and cited three male subjects for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia at a location on W. Fifth Street. 
December 31 
Officers responded to a report of stealing leased or rented property at an address on West US Highway 60.
