Calls for Service

January 8

While conducting routine patrol in the area of N Grand St, Officer Mark Templemere heard loud yelling and fighting coming from a residence. He separated both parties without incident and with one of the individuals a juvenile he will turn the matter over to the Missouri Juvenile Officer on call.

Officer Joe Barnhouse responded to a residence on East Fourth St in reference to a verbal disturbance. He separated both parties.

Sgt. David Hocking and Officer Ryan McGinnis conducted a requested wellbeing check on North Harris St.

Sgt. Hocking responded to East Fourth St for a verbal dispute. He contacted both parties involved. 

January 9

Officer Corey Clark conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officers Barnhouse and McGinnis arrested a subject on a Howell County warrant. The subject posted surety bond with a bondsman they released them with a return court date.

Officers Barnhouse and McGinnis responded to an address for a report of a burglary. The incident will be under investigation.

Officer McGinnis responded to a child custody incident.

Sgt. Hocking responded to East Fourth St for a verbal dispute. He separated both parties. 

Officer Barnhouse took a report of harassment on AJ Street. 

January 10

Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officers McGinnis and Hedlesten made a felony traffic stop on a stolen vehicle on US 60 by State Route 76. Mississippi County reported the vehicle stolen from their county. Officers took the driver into custody on a felony warrant. The owner of the vehicle retrieved the vehicle.

Sgt. Hocking and Officer Clark responded to a residence on East Fourth St in reference to a domestic altercation. Their investigation found one party gathering items to leave and the other party prevented them from doing so. Officers stayed on scene as the initial party gathered items and left the residence.

Sgt. Hocking responded to a verbal disturbance on West High St. 

Sgt. Hocking spoke to an individual regarding a trespassing complaint.

January 11

Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officer McGinnis responded to State Route 76 for a verbal disturbance.

Officer Hedlesten took a report of trespassing on East Main St. 

Officers Clark and Templemere conducted security checks of local businesses.

January 12

Sgt. Zeller took a report of a violation of a protection order. 

Officer Templemere conducted security checks of local businesses.

January 13

Sgt. Zeller took a report of shoplifting at Dollar General. 

Deputy Chief Boyle and Sgt. Zeller conducted a requested wellbeing check on Lance Lane

 

For the week, officers: checked on one abandoned vehicle, conducted five area checks for suspicious activity, made contact by request to three people, spoke with six individuals in the department, and issued twenty traffic warnings.
